This stunning, vining plant is renowned for its recognizable heart-shaped leaves and titilating blend of green hues. Each leaf showcases vibrant shades of emerald and lime green, often with creamy yellow variegation. The cascading growth is an ideal choice to hang or sit on a shelf or mantel.
Why We Love It:
- Kokedamas are watered by soaking the moss ball in a bowl of water for 10-20 minutes. After soaking if any part of the moss ball is dry, run under the facet. I like to set the kokedama on the sink to fully absord the water before returning it to its usual home. The Kokedama should not be watered again until complete dry (usually 7-14 days).
- Nutrient rich soil inside. We start with a bonsai soil mixture, then add potting soil, coco koir, charcoal, worm castings and slow release fertilizer.
- This plant prefer bright, indirect light, which basically means it should be within 5 feet of a window, but with no direct sun (especially direct afternoon sun). This plant combo can withstand lower light situations, but less light will result in slower growth.
